Regenerative Farming Overview

APPLES
Fresh apples go to market. Culls are used for livestock feed, biochar, and compost.

ORCHARD WOOD WASTE
Processed into wood chips, fed to worms, and converted to worm castings. Used as feedstock in biochar reactors to create biochar.

CORN ROW CROP
Fresh sweet corn goes to market.
Field corn and waste feeds cows and is used for biochar and compost.

POTATO ROW CROP
Fresh potatoes go to market.
Waste is used for cow feed, biochar, and compost.

MANURE
Dry manure used in compost. Liquid manure used in worm farms.

THE SOIL CENTER
A joint initiative between
Royal Family Farming and CMI Orchards to build a world class center for soil health. Soil processing facility build underway.

WORM FARM
Worms consume liquid waste and apple tree wood chips and convert to worm castings.

WORM FARM
14 acres filled with millions of worms convert waste to worm castings, which are used back in orchards and crop fields.

WOOD CHIPPERS
Converting orchard wood waste into wood chips which are fed to worms and converted to worm castings. Used as feedstock in biochar reactors to create biochar.

COMPOST
Upcycles solid waste into compost used in orchards and crop fields.

BIOCHAR
Closed combustion biochar reactors convert solid waste to carbon-rich biochar.

BIOCHAR
Used in orchards and field crops to trap water in the soil, boost soil nutrition, and sequester carbon.
